How SMS opt-in works
This page documents the opt-in flow for SMS messages sent by CrewLeadPro on behalf of Bindingstone LLC. Carriers, A2P 10DLC reviewers, and toll-free verification reviewers can use this page as a reference for the consent flow, the disclosure language, and sample message content. The actual opt-in happens inside the authenticated CrewLeadPro dashboard, but every step is mirrored here with the exact language we display.

The opt-in flow, step by step
An admin invites the contractor to a tenant workspace
New CrewLeadPro accounts are invite-only. An existing admin (or CrewLeadPro itself for a brand-new tenant) sends an invite email. The recipient clicks the invite link and lands on a public Accept Invite page. No SMS is sent at this stage. The phone field on this page is optional and is captured only if the user explicitly enters a mobile number and checks the SMS opt-in box (Step 2).
The contractor enters a phone number and checks an SMS opt-in box
On the contractor's /account/notifications page, the contractor
sees the form below. The checkbox starts unchecked. Checking
it is the consent action. The opt-in button stays disabled until the consent
box is checked AND a phone number is entered:
app.crewleadpro.com/account/notifications. The same component renders during initial onboarding (Accept Invite).
For machine readability, here is the exact consent text rendered above:
References shown below the checkbox (NOT part of the consent action): SMS Terms and Privacy Policy. Reviewing those is optional - checking the box only consents to receive the text messages described above. SMS consent is kept separate from acceptance of any other terms.
When the box is checked and the form submitted, CrewLeadPro stores a timestamped consent record on the user account (consent text, timestamp, IP address, user-agent) for audit purposes. The same flow runs during initial account onboarding (the Accept Invite page) so every user opting in to SMS has explicitly checked this box.
The contractor receives a one-time confirmation SMS
Immediately after opt-in, CrewLeadPro sends a single confirmation message to the consented number. The text is:
The contractor receives an SMS each time a new lead arrives
When a homeowner submits a contact form on the contractor's website, the beacon forwards the submission to CrewLeadPro, which routes a lead-alert SMS to the contractor. Sample production message:
STOP, HELP, and START are honored automatically
Replies to any message are handled by the Twilio Advanced Opt-Out feature on the sending number:
- STOP - immediate removal from the messaging program, single confirmation reply sent, no further messages until the user replies START.
- HELP - automatic reply with program operator identity and the support email [email protected].
- START - re-subscribes to the program after a previous STOP.
Privacy and data handling
Phone numbers are used only for the purpose described above. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for marketing purposes. Numbers are stored encrypted at rest. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and SMS Consent page.
